A wonderful trip to Whirlow

Y2 RESIDENTIAL TRIP TO WHIRLOW HALL FARM - APRIL 2014

Hi everyone, well we're back safe and sound from our fantastic trip to the farm. It was such good fun. Look at all the things we did. Here, you'll see pictures of all the children; some stayed in the Barn and some in the Farm Hall. The children rode ponies, collected eggs, groomed rabbits and ponies and toured the farm. You'll see the children prepare the farm produce for a Victorian market and they even herded goats from the field into the barn!

And that was just on the farm! The children also cooked their own pizzas and prepared fruit salad for their dinner.

We all had a fantastic time. Well done children and many thanks to Mrs Garton, Mrs Chetcuti and Miss Prochazka for helping me to provide this opportunity for the Y2s at Walkley.
